Intro to Prometheus Copper Clay (PCC)
Be inspired by the magic of Prometheus Copper Clay, an amazing new product that starts as clay and is magically transformed into pure copper. Copper clay can be formed into jewelry or sculpture, fired and finished to reveal your masterpiece in pure copper. This one-day class, taught by local Noblesville metal sculptor and certified Precious Metal Clay instructor, Bonnie Ramirez, will introduce the student to this new copper material and techniques, equipping the student to complete one or two pieces of jewelry or sculpture.
$85 (class fee includes all materials, tools and kiln firing)

Intro to Precious Metal Clay
Be inspired by the magic of Precious Metal Clay, an amazing new product from Mitsubishi that starts as clay and is magically transformed into pure silver. PMC can be fashioned into jewelry or sculpture, fired in a kiln or torch-fired, and finished to reveal your masterpiece in fine silver. This Intro class will allow the student to complete one or two pieces of jewelry or sculpture, using 3 forms of PMC.

Welding 4 Women
The name says it all. This 3 day workshop is specifically designed for women who want to melt metal. Given hands-on instruction and demos, the women will leave confident and safe with a basic introduction to welding techniques, and will take a small sculptural piece with them. The workshop will be fun but intense as you learn how to form and weld with torches and electric welders. During the first day, you will cover safety topics and receive instruction on proper welding attire . The rest of the weekend will be spent learning and applying technique and welding your first piece of Metal Art!
Intro to Art Metals
This weekend course is designed to introduce the beginning student to basic welding technology as applied to art projects, with a special emphasis on safety, design, and concept. The student will acquire technical as well as aesthetic skills in the spirit of quality craftsmanship. Brief demonstrations will be given concerning safety, techniques, and the creative process. The student will fabricate a small metal sculpture after demonstrating proficiency on specific welding processes.
